Tim and I are officially howeowners now! We still don't have Internet at our house, which is why it's taken me so long to update the blog. Well that and the fact that I have had a lot of other things to do. There are so many things I love about our house that I wouldn't even know where to begin the list. A big part of it for me though is feeling safer. I don't have to worry about neighbors stealing packages off my porch anymore. That's a nice change. We've had neighbors shovel our driveway and front porch after the 2 snow storms we have had so far. It's like night and day from living in West Valley. I love it!
I'm sure everyone is wanting a baby update. For a while I was only dilated to a one, but at my last appointment on Tuesday my doctor said I was at a one and a half. When I laughed at that he told me he was trying to be optimistic. I guess one of us needs to be. My due date is technically today since I'm writing this after midnight, but I don't think anybody expects that to happen. It would be cool though. Over the holidays my family placed our bets on date of birth, weight, and length for this boy. The prize? If you get all 3 exactly right then you get to name him. I'll just say that I'm rooting for certain people more than others. Some potential names are Digger, Barnaby, and Fetus. Does it concern anyone else that one of those suggestions was Tim's? No wonder why we can't agree on a name.

Yay! Congrats on being homeowners! I vote for Fetus! Or maybe Baby, since technically he won't be a fetus anymore. Wait, no, I think I'd name it Child, since that way he'd never grow out of it, since ya know, he'll always be your child. Or, if you wanted to stay on the super safe side, you could just name him Person.
Anyway, we hope you have a very nice, quick delivery! And if it makes you feel better, I wasn't even dialated AT ALL at my last appointment 3 days before I gave birth. Before you know it, little Person is going to be a 2 year old...sniff sniff.
