Kiddie Rides

Tim and I had the opportunity to rescue Terra for a little while yesterday by taking Cole for a few hours. Okay I'll be honest, I use Terra as the excuse, but sometimes it's more for me than her since I love spending time with him. We went to a place by our house called Hollywood Connection, which is like a smaller version of the old Utah Fun Dome. It has roller skating, laser tag, bumper cars, a carousel, and a bunch of smaller rides for kids. I think I had just as much fun riding the kiddie rides as Cole did. But even after all that excitement, the most memorable thing for Cole was the hot chocolate with marshmallows that we made before we left.

He told me this purple thing is a train, not a bus. Don't ever argue such serious topics with a kid who readily admits that he is "obsessed with Thomas."

Leesa, that was so nice of you guys to take Cole out for a fun night. I'm sure it was overdue and his parents really appreciated it. Still the favorite aunt I see.

Jess, it kept emailing me every time you left a comment, but then they never showed up on the blog. Apparently I have to approve them first, I'm just as smart as you are. Needless to say I turned that feature off.
